Data Ownership Policy for Contacts Imported into Anthem CRM

Overview

This Data Ownership and Privacy Policy defines the rights and responsibilities related to contact data imported, stored, and managed within Anthem CRM. By using Anthem CRM, the business licensing the software (hereinafter referred to as “the Agency”) and its employees agree to the terms of this policy.

Anthem CRM is a proprietary software solution owned and operated by Anthem Software, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Anthem Software”).

Ownership of Anthem CRM and Contact Data

  1. Ownership of Anthem CRM
    • Anthem CRM is proprietary software owned, developed, and maintained by Anthem Software.
    • The Agency is granted a license to use Anthem CRM under the terms of its agreement with Anthem Software.
  2. Ownership of Contact Data
    • All contact data imported into Anthem CRM by the Agency is the sole property of the Agency.
    • This includes, but is not limited to, names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, and any associated notes or metadata.
    • Anthem Software acts solely as the service provider and does not claim ownership of the contact data stored within Anthem CRM.
  3. Data Privacy Commitment
    • No Sale of Contact Information: Anthem Software is committed to protecting the privacy of the Agency’s contact data. Anthem Software will never sell, trade, or share the Agency’s contact information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
    • Contact data stored in Anthem CRM is used solely to support the Agency’s business operations and to improve the functionality of Anthem CRM.

Access and Security

  1. Access Control
    • Access to Anthem CRM is restricted to authorized personnel designated by the Agency. Anthem Software reserves the right to enforce access restrictions in accordance with the terms of the license agreement.
  2. Data Security
    • Anthem CRM uses industry-standard security measures, including encryption, access controls, and regular system audits, to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all stored data.

Use of Contact Data

  1. Employee and Contractor Use
    • Employees and contractors of the Agency are permitted to use contact data within Anthem CRM exclusively for the Agency’s business purposes. Any use outside of these purposes is prohibited.
    • Individuals accessing Anthem CRM must comply with this policy and any additional guidelines set by the Agency.
  2. Termination of Access
    • Upon termination of an employee, contractor, or agency relationship, Anthem Software reserves the right to revoke user access to Anthem CRM.
    • Individuals are strictly prohibited from retaining, sharing, or using any contact data obtained from Anthem CRM following the termination of access.

Third-Party Integrations

  1. Data Imported from External Sources
    • Contact data imported into Anthem CRM by the Agency from external sources becomes subject to this policy upon importation.
    • The Agency is responsible for ensuring that all imported data complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

Compliance with Privacy Regulations

  1. Data Protection Laws
    • Anthem Software and the Agency agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal data protection and privacy laws regarding the storage and use of contact data.

Amendments to the Policy

  1. Policy Updates
    • Anthem Software reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Notice of changes will be provided to the Agency, and continued use of Anthem CRM constitutes agreement to the updated terms.

Acknowledgment and Agreement

By accessing and using Anthem CRM, all users acknowledge and agree to this Data Ownership and Privacy Policy.
